The short version

Every number you type into this calculator, income, expenses, savings, goals, stays on your device. There is no account, no server-side database, and no backend that your inputs are sent to. Closing the tab or clearing your browser data removes it completely.

What's stored locally

The calculator saves your inputs and your light/dark theme preference in your browser's localStorage, so your numbers are still there the next time you open the site on the same device and browser. This data never leaves your device: it isn't transmitted to us or to any third party, and we have no way to see it.

Analytics and tracking

This site does not run any analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts, and it does not set tracking cookies. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated first and the change will be described here.

Hosting and server logs

Like any website, our hosting provider may log standard technical information for security and reliability, things like IP address, browser type, and request timestamps, as part of normal web server operation. This is infrastructure-level logging, not something this site configures or accesses for tracking purposes.

Third-party links

Pages on this site may link to external resources for further reading. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy doesn't cover them.

Children's privacy

This site is a general-purpose financial planning tool not directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect information from anyone, children included, since it doesn't collect personal information at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update will be reflected on this page with a new "last updated" date above.
